ODM leader Raila Odinga has been in Mombasa for a three-day vacation, sparking rumors of a romantic tryst with a woman.
However, Raila has denied any involvement with the woman, stating that he was simply taking a break from politics.
Speaking to a local publication, Raila said, 'I'm in Mombasa to rest for three days. I've not held any meetings today. I was advised to rest after Kasarani. After the three days, I will talk to different people and groups.'
A recent photo of Raila relaxing at the beach with Francis Atwoli has gone viral, with many speculating about the identity of the woman hiding behind a pillar.
Theories have ranged from the woman being a side chick to her being an employee at the beach resort.
Despite the speculation, Raila has maintained that he was simply taking a break and not engaging in any political activities.
