On July 8, 2019, a tragic incident occurred on the Southern Bypass in Nairobi, Kenya, when lawyer Karanja Kabage lost his life while driving.
According to reports, Kabage's vehicle veered off the road, slowed down, and appeared to be making a U-turn before hitting the pavement. Witnesses stated that the lawyer was still talking when he was evacuated from his vehicle, which was slightly damaged.
Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutyambai revealed that a taxi driver and a Good Samaritan stopped to assist Kabage, who requested to be taken to the Nairobi Hospital. However, upon arrival, doctors were unable to resuscitate him.
As part of the investigation into Kabage's death, an autopsy will be conducted on Monday to determine the cause of his demise. The autopsy will include an examination of vomit collected from the scene.
Early reports suggest that Kabage may have suffered a heart attack while driving, but the final determination will be made after the autopsy results are available.
