Deputy President William Ruto has acknowledged the challenges facing Jubilee party, urging its MPs to promote the party on media.

Speaking on July 7, 2019, in Baringo, Ruto said that discussing party issues on media was a form of sabotage.

"Those who discuss party issues on media are sabotaging the party. Anyone who claims to be a Jubilee supporter but goes to the press to spread propaganda and lies cannot be trusted," Ruto said.

However, Ruto expressed confidence that the party's strong foundation would see it through the challenges.

"Those who think the party will break up will be surprised. Jubilee is not a party formed to win elections, it has long-term goals and aims to unite Kenyans," Ruto said.

He also urged party members with differing opinions to follow the right channels to resolve their issues.

Senator Kipchumba Murkomen backed Ruto's statement, saying that Jubilee was a big party being torn apart by small issues.
