On July 7, 2019, Diamond Platnumz celebrated a special day with the two most important women in his life - his mother and girlfriend Tanasha Donna. The birthday bash, dubbed #707TheGreatGatsby, was held at Milimani city in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The singer merged the birthdays to celebrate the two women, who share the same birthdate. The event was attended by top names from East Africa, including Wasafi's WCB crew and Tanzanians. Bahati and Eric Omondi were also in attendance.
The dress code for the evening was black and gold, and both Tanasha and Diamond's mother wore stunning dresses that outshone everyone. Diamond's stepfather, Rally Jones, showered his wife with love on Instagram, calling her his 'wife, a great mom, and the owner of my heart.'
Diamond Platnumz also pampered the two women with love and special messages. He wrote, 'Words Can't Express how happy I am to Celebrate the Reborn of the two Women that i Love the Most… My Lovely Mom @mama_dangote and Lovely Baby @tanashadonna.'
The party was sponsored by several brands, and it was a night to remember for the guests. Notably, Diamond Platnumz had thrown a bigger party for his ex-girlfriend Zari at the same venue in 2015, which left many speculating that it was a wedding.
