On December 15, 2021, Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria was involved in an incident that left him with third-degree burns on his legs.
He is currently undergoing treatment at a world-class institution in Dubai, where he will soon undergo a rare stem cell surgery.
The surgery, which is a pioneering procedure, aims to accelerate the healing of burn wounds by inducing skin regeneration, reducing fibrosis, and improving scarring.
According to Kuria, "I am scheduled for stem cell surgery this week…this is a rare surgery and I will be among the pioneers to undergo it in the world," he told Capital FM on Tuesday.
It is worth noting that Kuria has previously been involved in a lawsuit against a company over an electric blanket that he claimed caused the burns.
