MP Kimani Ngunjiri has made explosive allegations against Jubilee Vice-Chair David Murathe, describing him as a corrupt individual who seeks government positions for personal gain.
According to Ngunjiri, Murathe sold his seat to Royal Media Services boss Samuel Kamau Macharia and has been involved in various questionable dealings, including being bankrupt and later becoming a Chinese broker.
‘You were bankrupt, became a Chinese broker, and then bought hotels in Malindi to build apartments. Then you come and talk bad about Deputy President William Ruto?’ Ngunjiri posed.
Ngunjiri also accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of being a dictator who fails to honour court orders and uses the military to govern the country.
Furthermore, Ngunjiri stated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) agents have arrived in the country to ensure the safety of the 2022 elections and protect Deputy President William Ruto's votes.
‘We’ve even called people from The Hague who are ready, they’re looking for data to ensure the safety of elections,’ Ngunjiri stated.
Additionally, Ngunjiri accused Murathe of trying to force the people of Mount Kenya into voting for former Premier Raila Odinga.
‘You’re lying to Raila about Mt Kenya votes that you will try to restore the image that you tainted during the past elections,’ he stated.
‘Murathe, you sold your seat to Royal Media Services boss Samuel Kamau Macharia, no one can give you a position to chair a burial committee since you look for means to solicit money,’ Ngunjiri stated.
