On a warm Nairobi evening in June 2019, the ASH Musical Show brought together music lovers for an unforgettable night of soulful sounds. The brainchild of Emmy-nominated musician Sara Mitaru and musician-cum-producer David Kimanthi, the ASH Musical Show is a monthly invite-only concert that has been making waves in the Kenyan music scene.

For its June edition, the organizers decided to create two back-to-back shows: the Birthday Edition and the Destination Concert, both sponsored by Tusker Premium Ale, an ultra-premium beer by Kenya Breweries Limited.

Bez Idakula, a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist and new generation soul, RnB, and Jazz artiste, took to the stage to perform some of his hit songs from the Super Sun Album, including 'You Suppose Know', 'There's a Fire', and 'My Baby'.

Meanwhile, Sara Mitaru treated the audience to several unsung songs from her notebook, which boasts over 70 melodies.
