Published on November 28, 2021, Zameer Verjee, the newly crowned 2WD non-turbo buggy class champion, is optimistic about ending the KCB Kenya National Autocross Championship season on a high note at Jamhuri racetrack.
Verjee successfully defended his title at the last round in Nanyuki, securing an unassailable 160-point lead over Ankush Manoj Shah, who finished with 159 points.
However, Verjee is set to face tough competition from Shah and Gurraj Singh in the upcoming round 9.
With a maximum of 22 points up for grabs, the competition will be fierce, and Verjee will need to perform well to maintain his lead.
Other classes, including 2WD Turbo, 4WD Turbo, Open Class, Bambino Class, Junior 2WD Non-Turbo, and Pee Wee Class, will also be competing in the final round.
Drivers will start with a practice heat in the morning, followed by four official heats, with the 'best of three' rule counting in the final classification.
