Published on July 6, 2019, Wilfried Zaha's comments on a potential transfer to Arsenal have sparked renewed interest in the Crystal Palace star's future.
As the Africa Cup of Nations continues, Zaha remains tight-lipped about his intentions, saying, "I have no comment on it [Arsenal’s bid]." When asked about his desire to play for Arsenal, he added, "I don’t know. We’ll see in the future.”
Crystal Palace are determined to hold on to Zaha, having already sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United in a £50million deal. The Eagles are seeking at least double the initial offer of £40million from Arsenal, who are hopeful of bringing down the asking price by offering players in part exchange.
With Zaha's brother pleading with Palace to let the former Red Devils star realise his 'dream' of playing for the Gunners, his boyhood club, the transfer saga continues to unfold.
