Nkechi Blessing had taken to social media to share a photo of herself posing with a Mercedes Benz, claiming it was her new purchase. However, the car's owner soon came forward to dispute her claim, alleging that Nkechi had taken advantage of her familiarity with the auto dealer's uncle to pose with the vehicle.
"Just because you know my uncle is not on Instagram that's why you did this, forgetting Instagram is a small community," the car's owner's family member said in a statement.
Following the backlash, Nkechi Blessing was forced to pull down the original post and upload a new one, seemingly to congratulate herself on her new purchase. However, it appears that the actress had actually bought a similar car, but the photo she initially posted was taken from the auto dealer's page.
