On July 6, 2019, a tragic accident took place at the Soysambu Conservancy, leaving one person dead and three others injured.
The incident occurred as the four individuals, who were spectators at the Safari Rally, were leaving the conservancy after the day's activities.
According to Gilgil base commander Robert Mugo, the vehicle rolled several times, resulting in the accident.
First responders, including officials from the Kenya Red Cross Society, were quick to arrive at the scene and provide assistance.
