Everton Arrives in Kenya for Pre-Season Match

Everton's squad has touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of their pre-season match against Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday.

The team, led by manager Marco Silva, finished eighth in the English top flight last season and is looking to improve their strategy for the upcoming season.

Among the players who have arrived in Kenya is young winger Ademola Lookman, who has been tipped by former Everton star Steven Pienaar to break ranks and join the first team.

Lookman, who is raw but exciting, will be part of the Toffees' squad in Kenya and will be looking to develop as a player.

Everton has also signed ex-Barcelona star Andre Gomes on a five-year deal worth £22 million, after a successful loan spell at the club.

Gomes played in 29 games while on loan with Everton last season and scored one goal.

The team will be facing Kariobangi Sharks at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi on Sunday, in what promises to be an epic showdown.

Sharks has beefed up its ranks by acquiring the services of Nzoia Sugar forward Patrick Otieno on a long-term deal ahead of the match.
