On November 15th, three terror suspects escaped from Kamiti Maximum Security Prison, sparking a massive manhunt. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations had announced a reward of Ksh60 million for information leading to their capture.
After receiving a tip-off from locals, sleuths swiftly moved to arrest the trio, who were identified as Musharaf Abdalla alias Alex Shikanda, Joseph Juma Odhiambo, and Mohammed Ali Abikar.
The suspects were arrested as they approached Ukasi in Mwingi East, bringing an end to a week-long search.
