US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to embark on a significant trip to Africa, visiting Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal from Monday to Saturday.

According to State Department spokesman Ned Price, Blinken's agenda includes discussions on ending the COVID-19 pandemic, battling climate change, and promoting a more inclusive global economy.

During his visit, Blinken will meet with the presidents of each country to advance US-Africa collaboration on shared global priorities, including revitalizing democracies, advancing peace and security.

His first stop will be Nairobi, where he will meet with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and underscore US support for peaceful 2022 elections.

Next, he will travel to Abuja to meet with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and deliver a speech on US-Africa policy.

Finally, he will end his trip in Dakar, where he will meet with Senegalese President Macky Sall and other officials.
