On November 9, 2021, the Kenya Revenue Authority made a significant seizure at the port of entry. KRA officials confiscated Ksh3.1 million ($28,000) that had been cleverly concealed in a jacket.
The shipment originated from South Carolina in the United States and was sent as a parcel to Kenya. The discovery was made at the port of entry, where KRA officials were conducting their routine checks.
