Meta has launched Facebook Business Coach, an innovative tool to help small-and-medium-sized businesses in Africa grow their online presence. The tool is available on WhatsApp and is accessible to individuals in Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and other English-speaking countries.

Launched on November 9, 2021, the Facebook Business Coach is a free, low-data-cost educational chatbot tool that provides automated, self-paced lessons to teach businesses how to establish a presence in today's digital economy.

The tool features step-by-step courses, tutorials, infographics, videos, and audio clips, with learning material recommended based on the user's needs and queries. Users can also access more in-depth training and get officially certified with Meta Blueprint courses online.

According to Nunu Ntshingila, Regional Director Meta Africa, the tool is designed to empower small businesses in Africa with the skills they need to succeed online. 'In today's social-media-driven environment, information on building your brand on online platforms can be crucial in what sets a small business apart and drives success,' she said.

The Facebook Business Coach is available to any individual, representing one of the ways Facebook provides opportunities for education and business growth through its platforms. To start talking to the Facebook Business Coach on WhatsApp, visit this link.
