On November 8, 2021, comedian Eric Omondi made headlines after announcing that he was expecting a child with musician Miss P. The news came as a surprise to many, but it was later revealed that the baby bump photos were photoshopped.
Eric Omondi's Baby Bump Scandal ¶
Eric Omondi's announcement was met with skepticism, with many questioning the authenticity of the photos. However, in an interview on Radio Maisha, Miss P revealed that her condition had caused her stomach to swell, adding to the photoshopped image.
Eric Omondi had initially claimed that he had met Miss P five months prior to the announcement, and that they were expecting a child together. However, it was later revealed that the whole thing was a publicity stunt to promote Miss P's music.
Eric Omondi's recent woes have also been linked to his separation from his South Sudanese girlfriend Ayen Monica, who won the Wife Material Show season 3.
Miss P has since admitted that the photos were indeed photoshopped, but that her condition had added to the image. She also revealed that Eric Omondi had vowed to help her push her music more than Willy Paul.
Eric Omondi's announcement was the genesis of his recent misfortunes and beef, which also roped in his baby mama Jacque Maribe. She appeared to paint the comedian as a deadbeat dad.
