Real Madrid reclaimed the top spot in La Liga after a thrilling 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Toni Kroos opened the scoring for Real in the 14th minute, converting a cross from Vinicius Junior.
Karim Benzema doubled the lead for Real in the first half, scoring his 10th goal of the season with a clinical finish from a David Alaba cross.
Radamel Falcao pulled a goal back for Rayo in the 77th minute, but it was too little, too late for the visitors.
Real Madrid's win took them to 27 points, two clear of Real Sociedad, while Rayo Vallecano slipped to sixth place with 20 points.
