Safaricom Plc has announced a planned maintenance exercise for its M-Pesa money transfer platform, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 6th November.
The maintenance exercise, which will affect all M-Pesa services including airtime purchases, is scheduled to take place from midnight on Saturday to 4:00 am on Sunday.
According to a notice dated 5th November, 2021, the company stated that the maintenance is part of its efforts to 'constantly invest and innovate M-Pesa to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our customers as well as continue to support our partners in their business ambitions.'
The company has apologized for any inconveniences that may be caused during the exercise and has assured customers that the maintenance is planned at a time when minimal disruptions will be experienced.
