On a chilly November morning in Texas, the Miami Heat proved too hot for the Dallas Mavericks, securing a 125-110 win on the road.
Heat star Kyle Lowry stole the show with an impressive display of three-point shooting, making six of nine attempts to finish with 22 points. This performance marked a significant milestone for Lowry since joining the Heat from Toronto in August.
Lowry's outstanding performance was complemented by impressive showings from Tyler Herro, who finished with 25 points, and Jimmy Butler, who had 23 points. Bam Adebayo also contributed 22 points to the Heat's victory.
The Mavericks, led by Luka Doncic's 33 points, fought hard to stay in touch throughout the game. Jalen Brunson chipped in with 25 points, while Tim Hardaway Jr. added 17 points to the Mavericks' tally.
Despite Doncic's heroics, the Heat maintained their lead, and Lowry credited the team's coaching staff and his teammates for making his transition to the Heat smooth.
"It's been pretty smooth," Lowry said. "Our coaching staff and Spo (head coach Erik Spoelstra) have let me go out there and do things and they've adjusted to me. And it's easy when you're playing with guys like P.J. (Tucker), Jimmy (Butler) and Markieff (Morris).">
"We've got a good group out there who can mix and match and do everything. It's just fun. It's just about being professional and working hard," Lowry added.
