On November 2, 2021, acclaimed comedian Eric Omondi sparked a heated debate on social media by claiming that he had dated Jacquie Maribe in 2012, and that Sam Ogina, a Citizen TV reporter, had also dated her at the same time.
However, Ogina has since fired back at Omondi, denying the allegations and accusing him of having a crush on his wife, Priscathi Njeri Oguna.
According to Ogina, he was courting his wife at the time Omondi claims he dated Maribe, and has even shared a photo of the two of them together at a party in 2012.
Ogina also accused Omondi of sending 'disgusting skeleton pictures' to his wife, and threatened to expose them if Omondi continued to provoke him.

Eric Omondi had previously posted on his Instagram account, saying that he gives Ogina an ultimatum to delete his post and issue an unconditional apology, otherwise he will expose his 'skinny skeleton ass of nudes'.
