On November 1, 2021, Tottenham Hotspur found themselves in a state of flux after sacking manager Nuno Espirito Santo, just four months into his tenure.
According to widespread reports, the club is now in advanced talks to appoint former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte as his replacement.
Conte, a 52-year-old Italian, has a proven track record in the Premier League, having won the title with Chelsea in 2017 and the FA Cup in 2018.
He also guided Inter Milan to the Serie A title last season, but surprisingly left the club during the close-season.
Conte has managed several top-tier clubs, including Juventus, where he won three Serie A titles, and the Italian national team from 2014 to 2016.
His appointment would be a significant coup for Tottenham, who are languishing in eighth place in the Premier League table.
Conte would be tasked with revitalizing the team's attacking play and getting the best out of England captain Harry Kane, who has struggled to hit top form since his attempt to engineer a move to Manchester City was rebuffed by chairman Daniel Levy.
