Actor Kevin Mwangi, alias Shaniqwa, has found himself at the center of a cheating scandal involving his wife Naomi Jemutai.
According to Shaniqwa, the couple's relationship began to deteriorate when he struggled to make ends meet during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Things took a turn for the worse when he lost his job, became a father, and had to rely on a mutual friend to host his family for a while.
"A friend called me and told me he would host my family. I did not want to tell my friends and so, I could not even post anything on social media since I was so stressed," Shaniqwa recalled in a radio interview.
As his wife worked, Shaniqwa took care of their child, often waking up early to cook and wash the child before spending the day with them.
However, things took a dark turn when Shaniqwa's wife started cheating on him, even when she was off work, leaving the child with him and going out with her lover.
It wasn't until his fans on Instagram started sharing pictures of his wife and her new partner that Shaniqwa became aware of the infidelity.
"People started sending me photos on Instagram asking me if I had left her. She had blocked me on Instagram, so I could not see. Photos of her kissing in the public were sent to me. I even received a call from the man's girlfriend complaining about my wife having an affair with her man," Shaniqwa revealed.
After a physical altercation between the two, Shaniqwa's wife left with their child and moved in with her new partner, leaving Shaniqwa stressed and his health took a toll.
However, things took a turn for the better when Shaniqwa started collaborating with comedian Desagu, which improved his financial and personal situation.
