On November 1, 2021, realme Kenya announced the availability of the GT Master Edition series in the market, marking a significant entry into the East African region.
The series comprises two devices: the GT Explorer Master Edition, priced at KES 45,000, and the GT Master Edition, starting at KES 37,000.
GT Explorer Master Edition ¶

This flagship device boasts a Snapdragon 870 5G processor, a 120Hz AMOLED display, stainless-steel liquid cooling technology, and up to 65W Super DART charging.
Key features include a triple camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, and a B&W lens for portraits.
GT Master Edition ¶

This device features a Snapdragon 778 5G processor, stainless-steel liquid cooling, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and 65W Super Dart Charging.
Notable differences include a 4300mAh battery, a 6.43-inch display, and storage options of either 128GB or 256GB with 6GB or 8GB RAM.
Designed by Naoto Fukasawa, a renowned Japanese industrial designer, the GT Master Edition series is touted as the best-designed flagship smartphone of the year globally.
