Zee Brings Extraordinary Entertainment to Kenyan Homes

On November 1st, StarTimes TV subscribers in Kenya will gain access to three new channels from Zee Entertainment, a leading Indian general entertainment network.

With a strong global presence spanning over 40 channels and reaching over 1.3 billion viewers across 173 countries, Zee has been a household name for 25 years in Africa, starting with the launch of Zee TV in 1995.

According to Somnath Malakar, CEO Africa and Indian Ocean Islands, Zee's corporate positioning is 'Extraordinary Together', aiming to provide an amplified brand experience and delight consumers worldwide with extraordinary entertainment and experiences.

Speaking on the introduction of the new channels, StarTimes Regional Marketing Director Aldrine Nsubuga noted that the channels will be available to Kenyan subscribers from November 1st, with the pay-television company keen to progressively enrich the platform with content from diverse genres.

Subscribers can look forward to a compelling slate of spectacular series, gripping dramas, movies, and cookery shows such as Snack Attack, Guddan, Lies of the Heart, and Reach for the Stars.

The new channels, Zee TV, Zee One, and Zee Tamizh, will be available on the following channels: Zee TV on 510 (terrestrial) and 557 (satellite), Zee One on 509 (terrestrial) and 553 (satellite), and Zee Tamizh on 558 (terrestrial).
