On October 30, 2021, Tusker FC bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Wazito FC at the Ruaraka Complex, while record champions Gor Mahia made it four wins in four matches with a 1-0 victory over Sofapaka.

Tusker FC's victory marked a significant turnaround for the team, which had suffered back-to-back losses prior to the match. The team's coach, Robert Matano, made several changes to his squad, including starting Teddy Osok and Daniel Sakari, which seemed to pay off as Tusker dominated the first half.

Shami Kibwana scored the opening goal for Tusker in the 40th minute, volleying the ball home from inside the box after being flicked through by Ibrahim Joshua. The goal gave Tusker a crucial lead, which they managed to maintain despite Wazito's strong second-half performance.

Wazito FC pushed hard in the second half, but Tusker's defense held strong. The team's substitute, Deogratious Ojok, sealed the win for Tusker in the first minute of added time, curling in a shot that hit the inside of the post into the net.
