On October 29, 2021, the Kericho County Assembly Speaker, Dominic Rono, flagged off a team of players to represent the county in the County Assemblies Sports Association (CASA) Games in Mombasa County.
The CASA Games, which were initially scheduled to take place in June 2021 but were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, are expected to attract at least 38 counties.
Registration for the tournament starts on October 29, and all participants are required to provide a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate upon arrival.
The CASA Games will feature a range of sports and cultural activities, including football, volleyball, netball, athletics, board games, table tennis, badminton, darts, and tug of war.
The County Assemblies Sports Association (CASA) is the body mandated to organize sports and cultural activities for the County Assembly Speakers, Members of County Assembly (MCAs), and staff in all 47 County Assemblies.
