On October 9, Apostle James Ng'ang'a, a city pastor and founder of Neno Evangelism, made headlines for all the wrong reasons when he discussed his genitals on Sasa TV.

During the broadcast, he warned female nurses against handling him when he dies, claiming that they would only be interested in seeing his nakedness.

The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) has since written to Ng'ang'a, demanding an explanation for his actions and threatening to take action against him and his TV station.

According to MCK Chief Executive Officer David Omwoyo, Ng'ang'a breached the programming code for free-to-air radio and television services, prompting the regulator to notify the Communication Authority (CA) for investigations.

Ng'ang'a, however, has dismissed the MCK letter, claiming that his channel falls under the Communications Commission of Kenya (CCK) and that MCK is being used by his enemies to shut down the station.

He acknowledged receiving a warning letter from CCK over the incident, but maintained that he will not be intimidated by the regulator's actions.
