Manchester United's 5-0 loss to Liverpool on November 7, 2020, left forward Marcus Rashford feeling embarrassed, but he assured fans that the team is working hard to redeem themselves.

According to Rashford, he stayed away from social media for a few days after the loss, not knowing what to say to the fans. He eventually broke his silence on Twitter, acknowledging the team's poor performance and vowing to make amends.

"I can't lie, you haven't heard from me on here because as a United fan I didn't really know what to say after Sunday," Rashford tweeted on Wednesday.

"I was embarrassed. I am embarrassed. Our fans are everything and you didn't deserve that. We're working hard to try and fix this. We have to redeem ourselves," he added.

Manchester United will look to bounce back from their loss when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in the Premier League, followed by a Champions League match against Atalanta in Italy and a home game against Manchester City on November 6.
