On October 27, Ndichu twins Eddie and Paul were grilled by DCI detectives at Lang'ata Police Station for five hours.

During the grilling, the twins issued new demands to the police, arguing that the Murgor sisters, Stephanie and Cheryl, were also culpable in the altercation.

The twins claimed that the sisters were captured on CCTV taking part in the fight and demanded that they be charged with affray, a public fight aimed at disrupting the peace.

According to the Kenyan Constitution, Section 92 of the Penal Code, any person who takes part in a fight in a public place is guilty of a misdemeanor and is liable to imprisonment for one year.

The twins also accused the sisters of being part of an extortionist ring, claiming that they were in the company of two men who were hellbent on extorting them, leading to the altercation.

A CCTV footage from Emara Ole Sereni hotel showed an altercation between Stephanie and a woman identified as Munira Hassan at the hotel's rooftop.

Munira, who is related to a high-ranking city lawyer, stated that she was in the company of the Ndichu brothers, Paul and Eddie, at the Ole Sereni Hotel's rooftop lounge when the altercation occurred.
