On October 27th, 2021, Talanta FC made a stunning comeback to beat Tusker FC 2-1 in a Football Federation Kenya Premier League match played at Ruaraka grounds.
Talanta took the lead in the 20th minute through Francis Kahiro, but Tusker FC levelled in the 56th minute through James Macharia. In the 62nd minute, Kahiro scored a winner, securing a brace for Talanta FC.
The winless Tusker FC, who started their league campaign with a 1-0 loss against AFC Leopards, now remain rooted at the bottom of the table with zero points.
Meanwhile, Talanta FC are fifth on the log with seven points, two behind leaders Nairobi City Stars.
Robert Matano's men will be hoping for better performance when they take on Wazito FC on October 30th, 2021.
Talanta FC now shifts focus to the next match in which they will face Bandari FC at Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa.
Elsewhere, Gor Mahia FC registered their third straight win after a 2-0 victory over Kariobangi Sharks at Moi Sports Centre Kasarani.
