The unidentified middle-aged woman from Kitui County was waiting to board a vehicle when the bees attacked her, causing her to scream uncontrollably.
Despite efforts to chase the bees away, they remained on her hand for over an hour, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers.
Witnesses reported that the woman had a bag containing foreign currency, a passport, and men's clothes, but the exact amount of currency was unknown.
