On October 27, 2021, Toyota Kenya solidified its partnership with Avenue Car Hire and Leasing Ltd by handing over six luxury vehicles.
The new additions to Avenue's fleet include four Land Cruiser Prados, one RAV4, and one Landcruiser 300 series, set to be delivered in 2022. The Prado's versatility will cater to both off-road and executive needs, while the Rav 4 will provide a seamless crossover experience through Kenyan towns with off-road capabilities.
According to Toyota Kenya's Managing Director, Arvinder Reel, the car hire sector is poised for growth as more Kenyans resume travel locally and internationally. To meet this demand, Toyota Kenya is strengthening its fleet sales division to cater to passenger and commercial vehicle needs.
Avenue Car Hire and Leasing Director, Neel Shah, noted that the new acquisition positions the company to offer competitive pricing on the latest model vehicles, meeting the growing demand for newer vehicles from corporate clients.
