Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika has made headlines with her breastfeeding journey, revealing that she comfortably feeds her daughter, Princess Asia Brown, despite undergoing breast enlargement surgery in 2018.
According to Vera, she underwent the procedure in Beverly Hills, United States, at a cost of $20,000 (approximately Sh. 2 million). She chose a type of surgery that allowed her to breastfeed in the future, as opposed to one that would block her from doing so.
Speaking on her official Instagram page, Vera explained that there are options for breast augmentation surgery, and she opted for the one that would enable her to breastfeed in the future.
”Yes, you can breastfeed even if you had breast surgery. There are options. You can choose a type that allows you to breastfeed in the future or one that doesn’t allow you to breastfeed,” she said.
With her daughter now a week old, Vera has been overwhelmed by the amount of milk she produces, saying, “And from the moment Asia came to this world my boobs been so full of milk. We don’t know what to do with it.”
