Reigning FKF Premier League champions Tusker FC will be looking to bounce back from their opening match defeat against AFC Leopards when they host newcomers Talanta at Ruaraka Grounds today, October 27, 2021.
Despite their continental disappointment, where they lost 4-0 (5-0 on aggregate) to Egyptian giants Zamalek over the weekend, Tusker coach Robert Matano has demanded a quick response from his players.
“We started the new season well in the Champions League but the injuries affected our performance in the FKF Premier League. But we are now back and ready for the second game,” said Matano.
Meanwhile, record FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia will clash with Kariobangi Sharks in an early kick-off match at Kasarani Stadium today. Gor Mahia returns to the local scene after advancing to the final preliminary round of the Confederation Cup.
