The startup's name, mSwali, is derived from 'm' for mobile and 'Swali,' which is Swahili for 'Question.'
According to Patrick Mungai, co-founder and CEO, mSwali aims to promote knowledge and curiosity among the African adult population through mobile-based learning games that are fun, rewarding, and easily accessible.
mSwali seeks to counter the proliferation of betting and gambling platforms in Africa by adopting its learning games to existing user behavior.
