Published on October 26, 2021, the Caf Confederation Cup draw has pitted Gor Mahia against Association Sportive Otohô of Congo, while Tusker will face CS Sfaxien of Tunisia.
According to the draw, Tusker will host the first leg between November 26-28, while Gor will start away in Congo in the same period. The second leg will be played a week later.
Gor Mahia advanced to the final preliminary round of the Confederation Cup after their opponents Al Ahly Merowe of Sudan withdrew from the competition. The Kenyan champions had won the first leg 3-1 played at the New Suez Canal on October 15.
Tusker, on the other hand, were knocked out of the Caf Champions League after a 5-0 aggregate loss to Egyptian champions Zamalek.
