Tusker FC, the reigning FKF Premier League champions, have been drawn against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia in the Confederation Cup play-off round.
According to the draw, Tusker will host the first leg on November 26-28, seeking to secure a spot in the group phase.
Meanwhile, FKF Cup champions Gor Mahia will head to Congo to face AS Otoho d'Oyo, with their first leg scheduled for away from home.
Tusker's draw comes after they lost 5-0 on aggregate to Egyptian giants Zamalek SC in the second preliminary round of the Champions League.
Gor Mahia, on the other hand, progressed to the Confederation Cup play-off round after earning a second leg walkover against Sudanese side Al Ahli Merowe.
Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano expressed confidence in his team's ability to perform better in the Confederation Cup.
