On October 20th, 2021, socialite Vera Sidika welcomed her daughter Asia Brown into the world, and she's thrilled about the experience. The businesswoman had opted for a caesarian section, which she described as the best decision she ever made.
According to Vera, she chose the date of her daughter's birth to coincide with Mashujaa Day, a public holiday in Kenya. This allowed her to celebrate her daughter's first birthday with family at home.
However, Vera's joy was short-lived as she expressed her frustration with people mispronouncing her daughter's name. In an Instagram post, she wrote, 'If you have a problem with pronouncing our child's name right, better call her Brown Junior.'
She went on to say, 'Kwani y'all didn't study about continent Asia in school? That y'all can't pronounce it?' Vera's post was accompanied by a photo of her daughter's birth certificate.
It's clear that Vera Sidika is passionate about getting her daughter's name pronounced correctly, and she's not afraid to speak her mind.
