On October 23, 2021, the business world lost a prominent figure in Haji Ahmed Nuur Abdulle, the founder of Dakawou Transporters, a leading Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) logistics company in East Africa.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family, relatives, and friends of the late Abdulle, praising his entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic efforts.
According to the President, Abdulle's business ventures created job opportunities for thousands of young Kenyans, contributing significantly to the country's economic growth.
“Mr Abdulle was a humble but extremely hard working entrepreneur who contributed immensely to the growth of our economy by creating business opportunities for our people and jobs for many of our youth,” the President said in his message of condolence.
Abdulle was also the owner of Premier Hospital, one of the largest private medical facilities in Mombasa, and a committed philanthropist who partnered with like-minded individuals to establish educational and religious institutions across the country.
“Mr Abdulle was a dependable Kenyan patriot whose philanthropic deeds in Mombasa and across the country helped empower the vulnerable in our communities,” the Head of State eulogised.
