On June 21, a dramatic scene unfolded in Makina, Kibera, as Edna Gesare attacked her colleague, Noelle Omuchai, in a bid to protect her marriage.
Gesare claimed that Omuchai had been sending love motivational texts to her husband's phone at night, causing him to lose interest in his matrimonial duties.
According to Gesare, she roughed up Omuchai in her house as her husband watched, leaving the victim with injuries on the lips, face, and waist.
Gesare's defense was that she was only trying to show Omuchai the importance of respecting other people's marriages.
She will be sentenced today after a probation report on her is presented in court.
