Senator Anwar Loitiptip Accused of Assaulting 32-Year-Old Woman in Nanyuki ¶
Senator Anwar Loitiptip has been accused of assaulting a 32-year-old woman in Nanyuki, leaving her with a wounded leg. The incident allegedly occurred on October 23, 2021, at the Kanu Grounds.
According to reports, the woman, identified as Joy Makena, was rushed to the Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital after the alleged assault. Senator Anwar Loitiptip, on the other hand, allegedly took off from the scene before emerging on Sunday, October 24, 2021, to record a statement at a police station in Nanyuki.
However, Senator Anwar Loitiptip and his girlfriend, Aeedah Bambi, claim to have been attacked by two women and a man, leaving the Senator with an injured shoulder. To prove this, the Senator obtained a hospital report as proof of the alleged attack.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time Senator Anwar Loitiptip has been accused of pulling out a gun to threaten someone. In a previous incident, he was accused of pulling a gun on his girlfriend, Aeedah Bambi, after an argument.
