Kenyan motivational speaker Robert Burale has found himself at the center of a heated debate after announcing a seminar for unmarried Kenyans, with a hefty price tag of Ksh 12,000 per attendee.

According to a poster circulating on social media, the seminar, themed 'Chivalry is not lost and so is an honorable lady,' is set to take place on November 16 at Hillpark Hotel.

However, what has raised eyebrows is the exorbitant fee, which includes accommodation, meals, and entertainment. The poster claims that the Ksh 12,000 fee covers 'accommodation on HB (set dinner), red roses for ladies, Kizomba, Salsa dance, fun and games, and breakfast by the poolside.'

Netizens have expressed mixed reactions to the seminar, with some defending Burale's right to charge for his services, while others have criticized him for being insensitive, given his own marital history.

Some have pointed out that Burale, who separated from his former wife years ago, is not exactly in a position to offer advice on relationships. Others have questioned the value of paying such a high fee for advice on finding a partner.

The Reactions:

Ja Loka: 'Burale the pastor, MC life coach, love doctor, and national Covid-19 survivor wants single, broke people to pay him Ksh 12,000 so that he can advise them on how to get into a relationship. We have a weird culture of always trying to pickpocket naked men.'

Its Roddie: 'Singles who will part with Ksh 12,000 should know that the message will be. 'hope is not lost, you can still find your soulmate.'

Juma G: 'People are paying Ksh 112,000 for Burale, who is single, to tell them that they can beat being single and find a soulmate. Not even Pastor Ng'ang'a can save such soul.'

Naya Biggie: 'Who takes marriage advise from an old single man like Burale more so at a fee of Ksh 12,000? Even God hates fools.'

Osoro Obwoni: 'We understand the pandemic hit us badly, but people like Burale should not take advantage and enrich themselves devoid of being considerate.'

Lito Steve: 'Love is free but advise of getting it is not. Being single has never been this expensive.'
