WhatsApp has finally rolled out the feature to send videos without sound in its stable version, allowing users to mute videos before sharing them with contacts.
First introduced in February 2021 on WhatsApp Beta for Android and September 2021 for iOS, the feature is now available for both single and group conversations.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to send a video without sound on WhatsApp:
Open the conversation or group you want to send a video to on WhatsApp.
Tap the video you want to send and select it.
Once the video preview appears, tap the speaker button in the upper left corner to mute the video.
Finally, tap the send button at the bottom right corner of the screen to send the video without sound.
With this feature, you can avoid embarrassing situations where the audio plays unexpectedly, and also save your contacts from adjusting the audio themselves.
