Published on October 23, 2021, Mohamed Salah's future at Liverpool has been a topic of discussion among football fans. The Egyptian forward, who has been the Premier League's joint-top scorer this season with seven goals, has a contract with the club until June 2023.
Salah, 29, spoke to Sky Sports about his future, stating, "If you ask me, I would love to stay until the last day of my football career. But I can't say much about that, it's not in my hands."
He also expressed his desire to avoid playing against Liverpool in the future, saying, "It depends on what the club want, not on me. At the moment I can't see myself ever playing against Liverpool. That would make me sad."
Salah's comments come as Liverpool prepares to face Manchester United, who are in sixth place and four points behind their arch-rivals after eight games.
