A man from Nanyuki, Laikipia County, was left heartbroken after being informed that his fiancée, a tailor, had gotten married.
According to reports, the couple had been in a relationship before the man got a job in a different area, causing them to drift apart.
Despite their distance, the couple had maintained regular communication through phone calls.
However, the man's world came crashing down when he returned from a work trip and found out that his fiancée had been married off by her family.
"Eti umeolewa na hukuniambia chochote," the man was quoted as saying, expressing his shock and disappointment.
He had been supporting his fiancée financially every month, and her sudden marriage left him feeling betrayed.
"Kila mwezi huwa namtumia pesa za kugharamia mahitaji yake na sasa ameniruka," he lamented.
