Kenyan Hip-hop rapper Khaligraph Jones is at the center of a controversy surrounding his alleged failure to support his four-year-old son, Xolani, born out of his relationship with rapper Cashy Kirimi Muriungi.
On October 21, 2021, Cashy took to her Instagram to express her happiness over the lifting of the dusk-to-dawn curfew by President Uhuru Kenyatta, but her post was laced with a veiled jab at Khaligraph, accusing him of using the curfew as an excuse to avoid providing child support.
“I'm actually happy the curfew has been lifted because artistes can go back to artistes from night gigs! In fact help me pray for an overflow of events so that your fave rapper will have zero reason to claim he can't 'afford' child maintenance, it's been so hard bana,” she posted.
This is not the first time Khaligraph has been accused of not supporting his child, with Cashy having threatened to take him to court over the same issue a year ago.
