OPPO Kenya's Wildlife Photography Challenge Winners Announced

On October 15, 2021, OPPO Kenya announced the winners of its wildlife mobile photography challenge, which saw contestants showcase their photography skills using a mobile phone camera.

Jeremy Kioko emerged as the overall winner, capturing a breathtaking image of a leopard perched on a tree branch at the Tsavo East National Park. His prize? A whopping KES 200,000.

Benjamin Orori and Kevin Mwanyiro took home KES 100,000 and KES 50,000 respectively, as first and third runners-up.

According to OPPO, the competition aimed to highlight the Reno Series' innovative camera features and support the recovery of the tourism industry.

"OPPO continues to innovate further to enable customers to record every precious moment as professional-looking portrait images and videos," said Muthoni Wachira, OPPO's PR Manager. "The Reno6 5G features a 64MP AI Triple Camera setup on the back and a 32MP Selfie Camera on the front, as well as a dedicated color temperature sensor that captures colors more accurately."
