Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has been facing criticism from haters since unveiling her pregnancy on June 16th this year. However, she has chosen to focus on the positive and celebrate the upcoming arrival of her baby.
On October 9th, Vera's friends surprised her with a gift of Sh100,000, which she used to plan a grand baby shower. The event, which took place on October 9th, was attended by several celebrities, including Eric Omondi, Krispah, Bahati, and his wife Diana Marua.
However, some people had alleged that Vera was broke and couldn't afford to throw a fancy baby shower. In response, Vera took to her Instagram to address the rumors, saying,
"Tell me how can a Human being like me Use Sh113, 00 that did ask for. To throw a fancy Baby shower party that cost me over Sh800K. Since you all saying Watu walichanga pesa za BABY shower. Event planner alone has to be booked couple of weeks before event dates in this week season…how do you think 100K given on 9gh October 12pm as a surprise from friends can plan a fancy BABY shower"
Vera's hubby Brown Mauzo made a bigger move as he gifted her with a land title deed.
Despite the rumors, Vera's baby shower was a grand success, with friends and family showering her with sumptuous gifts. Vera couldn't hide her joy as she flaunted the gifts on her Instagram.
For now, Vera is set to give birth any day this month.
