On Sunday, Daniel Mwangi Mahinda, the son of a wealthy businessman, Joseph Mahinda, was found dead in his Toyota SUV at Lake Nakuru National Park. The incident occurred after he caught his wife, Lorna Chepkorir, in bed with his best friend and business partner.
According to police, there were no signs of foul play, and the cause of death was determined to be pesticide poisoning. Sources close to the family claimed that Mwangi took his own life after discovering his wife's infidelity.
The news of Mwangi's death was met with shock and sadness, particularly from his family and friends. His obituary, posted on Tuesday, revealed that he left behind two young children, Liam Mahinda and Zuri Ngina.
A private funeral service will be held tomorrow at Nakuru North Cemetery, attended by close family and friends.
